Prince Caspian (Chronicles of Narnia S.)

Prince Caspian - C.S. Lewis 2.5/5I like how Narnia isn’t linear in regards to time. It definitely makes the story interesting because the kids can walk out of Narnia and back into a different time. A year has only passed in real time but over a 1000 Narnian years have passed. In that time Old Narnia has faded away and people have taken over. Talking animals and other mythical creatures have gone away because no one believes in them. (I found the mixing of mythologies to be a bit odd.)I didn’t enjoy this book too much. Once again, it’s hard to fully connect to since everything keeps jumping around from book to book. Yes, the Pevensie children are in this book but it’s really more Caspian’s story though. I did appreciate that Narnia seemed more realistic in this book because of the politics and history of the world. It made for a boring story though. The bottom line? Eh. Not really for me.
